Activities

      There are many activities in and around the resort. We have a safe sandy beach that includes a swimming raft. We also have supervised children's activities, a playground and a gameroom. Every evening we gather together for a bonfire. It is located on a point overlooking the lake.

      The town of Vergas offers a complete range of services from groceries to tennis. The antique buffs will enjoy browsing through the shops displaying old memorabilia.

      For people who like golf, there are several fine courses within a short drive of Governor's Point. One of these courses hosts the Pine to Palm tournament each August.

      Horseback riding is only twenty minutes away for those who are equestrians.
